Czech Airlines- The National Airlines of Czech Republic
The national airline at Ruzyne International Airport, Prague is the Czech Airlines which control scheduled services to sixty nine places in forty one countries including most of the major European cities and to transit points in North America and the Middle East. It also has the capability to operate the cargo services and charter services. This airline runs a frequent and very often flyer program known as OK PLUS and it is a member of the SKYTEAM alliance.
Czech Airlines has a member lounge called the Crystal Lounge and its fleet size is fifty (+eleven orders). Its parent company is Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic and its head quarters are at Prague, Czech Republic. CSA as founded in 1923 bye the CSA government that is CeskoSlovenske Aerolinie. After almost twenty three days its very first flight took place which was between Prague and Bratislava. A fact which is known to very few people is that the CSA was also the first airline in the world to fly the jet-only lines as the other airlines used both the jets as well as the piston/turboprop aircraft on their lines simultaneously. Later, there was a breakup of the Czechoslovak Federation and the airline took its present name in the year of 1995.
The aircrafts that it has consists of Airbus A310-300 that has routes including North America for charter flights, Airbus A319-100 for medium haul which has routes like Europe and Middle East, Airbus A321-200 for medium haul for the purpose of charter flights, Airbus A320-200 for routes like Europe and Middle East, ATR 42-500 for short haul with routes like Central Europe, ATR 72-200 for a short haul with routes like Central Europe, Boeing 737-400 for short medium haul with routes like Europe for the purpose of charter flights and Boeing 737-500 for short medium haul with routes such as Europe.
It should be known that Czech Airline (which was formally called the CSA) signed an agreement with Exim Tours somewhere in June in the year of 2007 which is the largest of the Czech travel agency. This was more of an extension of the contract for another three years. Under this contract it was to be implied that the CSA was to give the facility of air travel services to the clientele of the travel agency called Exim Tours. Those clients were specifically going towards the destinations like La Isla Margarita in Venezuela, Varadero in Cuba, La Romana in the Dominion Republic and also towards the places like Greece, Tunisia, Egypt and many others.
